حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ

فَرَّ عَيَّاشُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَسَلَمَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ وَالْوَلِيدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعَيَّاشٌ وَسَلَمَةُ مُتَكَفِّلَانِ مُرْتَدِفَانِ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ وَالْوَلِيدُ يَسُوقُ بِهِمَا فَكَلِمَتْ إِصْبَعُ الْوَلِيدِ فَقَالَ

Translation

✧ ʿAyyāsh b. Abī Rabīʿa, Salama b. Hishām, and al-Walīd b. al-Walīd b. al-Mughīra fled from the polytheists to the Prophet ﷺ. ʿAyyāsh and Salama were riding together on a camel, and al-Walīd was driving them. Al-Walīd's finger was injured, and he said:
