حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَخْرَمُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ

عَنْ أَبَانَ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْوَفْدِ الَّذِينَ وَفَدُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّي لَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ إِلَّا ظَلَّ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ وَإِنْ قَالَهَا إِذَا أَمْسَى بَاتَ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ

✧ From Aban al-Muharibi, who was one of the delegation that came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Abd al-Qays, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no servant who says in the morning, 'Praise belongs to Allah, my Lord; I associate nothing with Him, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah,' except that he remains forgiven of his sins until evening. And if he says it in the evening, he passes the night forgiven of his sins until morning."
