حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ وَأَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَزَّازُ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ قَالَا ثنا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ جَوْنِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْمُحَبِّقِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَأَتَى عَلَى قِرْبَةٍ مُعَلَّقَةٍ فَاسْتَقَى فَقِيلَ إِنَّهَا مَيْتَةٌ قَالَ «ذَكَاةُ الْأَدِيمِ دِبَاغُهُ»

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ was on a journey and came upon a hanging waterskin and asked for water. It was said: "It is from a dead animal." He said: "The purification of the hide is its tanning."
