حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ «أَرْبَعٌ» مَا أَنَا الْيَوْمَ بِأَشَحَّ مِنِّي عَلَيْهِنَّ يَوْمَ سَمِعْتُهُنَّ قَالَ «لَا تُشْرِكُوا بِاللهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَزْنُوا وَلَا تَسْرِقُوا»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said during the Farewell Pilgrimage: “Four matters” — I am not more protective of them today than the day I heard them. He said: “Do not associate anything with God, and do not kill the soul which God has made inviolable except with right, and do not commit adultery, and do not steal.”
