حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْوَزِيرُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السُّدِّيُّ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ عَنْ أَبِي سُخَيْلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ

وَعَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَا أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِيَدِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ هَذَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ آمَنَ بِي وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُصافِحُنِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهَذَا الصِّدِّيقُ الْأَكْبَرُ وَهَذَا فارُوقُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَ الْحَقِّ وَالْبَاطِلِ وَهَذَا يَعْسُوبُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمَالُ يَعْسُوبُ الظَّالِمِ»

✧ And from Salman, they both said: The Messenger of God ﷺ took ʿAli ؓ by the hand and said: “This is the first to believe in me, and he is the first to shake my hand on the Day of Resurrection. This is the greatest ṣiddīq, and this is the Fārūq of this community, by whom truth is distinguished from falsehood. This is the leader of the believers, and wealth is the leader of the wrongdoer.”
