✧ I went out seeking the religion and I came upon remnants of the People of the Book among the monks. God ﷻ said: {They recognize him as they recognize their own sons}, and they used to say: “This is the time of a prophet who has drawn near, who will emerge from the land of the Arabs. He has signs, among them a round mole between his shoulders, the seal of prophethood.” So I reached the land of the Arabs, and the Prophet ﷺ emerged, and I saw all that they had said, and I saw the seal. So I bore witness that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and I heard him say: “Ribat for a day and a night is better than fasting a month and standing in prayer during it, standing without flagging and fasting without breaking the fast. If he dies as a murābiṭ, his righteous deeds continue for him until he is raised, and he is protected from the punishment of the grave.”
