حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو شُرَيْحٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْكَرِيمِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلِ بْنِ السِّمْطِ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْخَيْرِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «رِبَاطُ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صِيَامِ شَهْرٍ وَقِيَامِهِ وَمَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ جَرَى عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فِي الثَّوَابِ وَأُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ وَأُومِنَ الْفَتَّانَ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Ribat for a day and a night is better than fasting a month and standing in prayer during it, and whoever dies as a murābiṭ in the path of God, the same reward continues for him, his provision is made to flow to him, and he is safeguarded from the two tempters.”
