حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ يَعْنِي بِشْرًا عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ ؓ قَالَ
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْجُبْنِ وَالسَّمْنِ وَالْفِرَاءِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «الْحَلَالُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللهُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَالْحَرَامُ مَا حَرَّمَ اللهُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَمَا سَكَتَ عَنْهُ فَقَدْ عَفَا عَنْهُ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was asked about cheese, clarified butter, and furs. The Prophet ﷺ said: “The lawful is what God has made lawful in the Quran, the unlawful is what God has made unlawful in the Quran, and whatever He remained silent about, He has pardoned.”
