حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ كَثِيرٍ النَّوَّاءِ عَنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ بْنِ نَجَبَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «أُعْطِيَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ تِسْعَةَ رُفَقَاءَ وَأُعْطِيتُ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ» فَقِيلَ لِعَلِيٍّ مَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ «أَنَا وَابْنَاي الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ وَحَمْزَةُ وَجَعْفَرٌ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَالْمِقْدَادُ وَسَلْمَانُ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ ؓ» وَخَالَفَ فِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ ابْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ فِي إِسْنَادِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ said, “Every prophet was given nine companions, and I have been given fourteen.” It was said to ʿAlī, “Who are they?” He said, “I, my two sons al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn, Ḥamza, Jaʿfar, Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, al-Miqdād, Salmān, Ṭalḥa, and al-Zubayr ؓ.” Fiṭr b. Khalīfa disagreed with Ibn ʿUyayna in the chain of this hadith.
