حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
«دُعِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى وَلِيمَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقُمْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حِينَ دُعِيَ فَأَطْعَمَنَا خُبْزًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ ثُمَّ إِنَّ الْخَادِمَ الَّتِي تُطْعِمُنَا الطَّعَامَ وتَسْقِينَا الشَّرَابَ لَلْعَرُوسُ الَّتِي بِهَا»

✧ 'The Prophet ﷺ was invited to the wedding feast of a man from the Anṣār. We stood up with the Prophet ﷺ when he was invited, and he fed us barley bread. Then the servant who was serving us food and giving us drink was verily the bride herself.'
