حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ؓ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ أَيَّامِكُمْ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ النَّفْخَةُ وَفِيهِ الصَّعْقَةُ فَأَكْثِرُوا عَلَيَّ فِيهِ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ إِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعْرُوضَةٌ عَلَيَّ» فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَيْفَ تُعْرَضُ صَلَاتُنَا عَلَيْكَ وَقَدْ أَرِمْتَ؟ قَالَ يَقُولُ بَلِيتَ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ حَرَّمَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ أَجْسَادَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Indeed the best of your days is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it the trumpet will be blown, and on it the blast will occur. So increase your prayers upon me on it, for your prayers are presented to me.” They said: O Messenger of Allah, how will our prayers be presented to you when you have decayed? He said: He says: “You have become worn out.” He said: “Indeed Allah ﷻ has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the prophets.”
