حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ «لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ وَانْصَرَفَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابِهِ خَرَجَ النِّسَاءُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابِهِ يَغِيثُونَهُمْ فَكَانَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِيمَنْ خَرَجَ فَلَمَّا لَقِيتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اعْتَنَقَتْهُ وَجَعَلَتْ تَغْسِلُ جِرَاحَاتِهِ بِالْمَاءِ فَيَزْدَادُ الدَّمُ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْ ذَلِكَ أَخَذَتْ شَيْئًا مِنْ حَصِيرٍ فَأَحْرَقَتْهُ بِالنَّارِ فَكَمَدَتْهُ حَتَّى لَصَقَ بِالْجُرْحِ وَاسْتَمْسَكَ الدَّمُ»

✧ He said: "On the day of Uhud, when the polytheists withdrew from the Messenger of God ﷺ and his companions, the women went out to the Messenger of God ﷺ and his companions to help them. Fatimah bint the Messenger of God ﷺ was among those who went out. When she met the Messenger of God ﷺ, she embraced him and began washing his wounds with water, but the blood increased. When she saw that, she took a piece of a mat, burned it with fire, and applied it to the wound until it stuck to the wound and the blood stopped."
