حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
«كَانَ كَوْنٌ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ فَأَتَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِيُصْلِحَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ وَقَدْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ»

✧ There was a dispute among the Ansar, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to them to reconcile between them. He then returned, and the prayer had been established, with Abu Bakr ؓ leading the people in prayer. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed behind Abu Bakr ؓ.
