✧ I heard him say: The dearest of ‘Ali’s names to him was Abu Turab, and he would rejoice to be called by it. None named him Abu Turab except the Messenger of God ﷺ. One day he became angry with Fatimah ؓ and went out and lay down against a wall. The Messenger of God ﷺ came looking for him and did not find him in the house, so he said to Fatimah, “Where is your cousin?” She said, “He went out a short while ago in anger.” The Messenger of God ﷺ ordered someone with him to look for him, and he said, “He is lying against the wall, and his cloak has slipped from his back and become covered in dust.” The Messenger of God ﷺ began wiping the dust from his back and saying, “Sit up, Abu Turab.”
