حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ نِزَارٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَأَنْ أَشْهَدَ الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ أَجْلِسَ أَذْكُرُ اللهَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَحْمِلَ عَلَى جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "To perform the morning prayer, then sit remembering God until the sun rises, is more beloved to me than to carry out raids on excellent horses in the path of God until the sun rises."
