✧ Son of al-Hanzhaliyyah al-Ansari from the tribe of Harithah, his mother's name is al-Hanzhaliyyah and his father's name is Afif. He used to reside in Damascus, Syria.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بُشَيْرُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي حَارِثَةَ أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ وَسَهْلَ بْنَ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ حَدَّثَاهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ التَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ إِلَّا أَصْحَابَ الْعَرَايَا فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ أَذِنَ لَهُمْ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade muzabanah, and muzabanah is dates for dates, except for the owners of 'araya, for he permitted them.
