✧ Son of al-Hanzhaliyyah al-Ansari from the tribe of Harithah, his mother's name is al-Hanzhaliyyah and his father's name is Afif. He used to reside in Damascus, Syria.

حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ قَالَ

«قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَيْبَرَ نِصْفَيْنِ نِصْفٌ لِنَوَائِبِهِ وَخَاصَّتِهِ وَنِصْفٌ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَقَسَمَهَا بَيْنَهُمْ عَلَى ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ سَهْمًا»
