حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا قَالَا ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ ذِي حُدَّانَ

أَنَّ سَهْلَ بْنَ حُنَيْفٍ كَانَ يَقُولُ مَا رَأَيْتُ مِثْلَ مَنْ لَمْ يَتَّهِمْ رَأْيَهُ «خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حُجَّاجًا فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ أَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَجْعَلَهَا عُمْرَةً»

✧ Sahl b. Hunayf used to say, "I have never seen anyone like the one who did not question his own judgment: We set out with the Messenger of God ﷺ as pilgrims, and when we arrived in Makkah, he ordered us to turn it into an Umrah."
