وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ
«أَنَّ النَّجَاشِيَّ بَعَثَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِثَلَاثِ عَنْزَاتٍ فَأَمْسَكَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَاحِدَةً لِنَفْسِهِ وَأَعْطَى عَلِيًّا ؓ وَاحِدَةً وَعُمَرَ وَاحِدَةً وَكَانَ بِلَالٌ يَمْشِي بِهَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَيَرْكُزُهَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا»
Translation

✧ That the Negus sent the Prophet ﷺ three short spears. The Prophet ﷺ kept one for himself, gave 'Ali ؓ one, and 'Umar one. Bilal used to walk with it in front of him and plant it in front of him on the two 'Ids, and he would pray toward it.
