حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيَّانِ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الدَّالَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالْحِنْطَةُ بِالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْمِلْحُ بِالْمِلْحِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوِ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى» فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَإِنَّ صَاحِبَ تَمْرِكَ يَشْتَرِي صَاعًا بِصَاعَيْنِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ تَمْرِي كَذَا وَكَذَا فَلَا يَأْخُذُوهُ إِلَّا أَنْ أَزِيدَهُمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَا تَفْعَلْ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, barley for barley, dates for dates, salt for salt, like for like. Whoever increases or asks for an increase has committed usury." It was said, "O Messenger of God, the owner of your dates buys one sa' for two sa's." So he sent for him, and he said, "O Messenger of God, my dates are such and such, and they will not take them unless I give them more." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not do that."
