al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 5390

✧ Saad b. Ubadah al-Ansari, then al-Khazraji, a follower from Badr and Uhud, a captain, known as Abu Thabit, he stayed in Sham and passed away there.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ لَقِيطٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ ثُمَّ نَسِيَهُ إِلَّا لَقِيَ اللهَ ﷻ أَجْذَمَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, “There is no one who learns the Qurʾan and then forgets it except that he will meet God, Mighty and Exalted, as a leper.”
