al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 5391

✧ Saad b. Ubadah al-Ansari, then al-Khazraji, a follower from Badr and Uhud, a captain, known as Abu Thabit, he stayed in Sham and passed away there.

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا ثنا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ فَايِدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ ثُمَّ يَنْسَاهُ إِلَّا لَقِيَ اللهَ ﷻ وَهُوَ أَجْذَمُ»

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “There is no one who reads the Qur’an and then forgets it except that he will meet Allah ﷻ while he is mutilated.”
