حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهَا أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سَكَنٍ قَالَتْ

لَمَّا خُرِجَ بِجِنَازَةِ سَعْدٍ صَاحَتْ أُمُّهُ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَلَا يَرْقَأُ دَمْعُكِ وَيَذْهَبُ حُزْنُكِ فَإِنَّ ابْنَكِ أَوَّلُ مَنْ ضَحِكَ اللهُ لَهُ وَاهْتَزَّ لَهُ الْعَرْشُ»

✧ When they brought out the funeral bier of Sa'd, his mother cried out. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: “Will your tears not cease and your grief depart? For your son is the first at whom Allah smiled and for whom the Throne shook.”
