حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ
كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجَاءَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هَذَا سَيِّدُكُمْ»

✧ We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when Sa'd b. Mu'adh came. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'This is your chief.'
