حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَزَّازُ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ قَالَا ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ عَنْ سَعْدٍ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بَعَثَ إِلَى سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي أَمْرِ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ فَجَاءَ سَعْدٌ عَلَى حِمَارٍ قَدْ كَادَتْ رِجْلَاهُ تَبْلُغانِ الْأَرْضَ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ «قُومُوا إِلَى سَيِّدِكُمْ» فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ قَدْ رَضُوا بِحُكْمِكَ فَاحْكُمْ فِيهِمْ» قَالَ أَحْكُمُ فِيهِمْ أَنْ تُقْتَلَ مُقَاتِلَتُهُمْ وَأَنْ تُسْبَى ذَرَارِيُّهُمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَقَدْ حَكَمْتَ بِحُكْمِ اللهِ وَحُكْمِ الْمَلِكِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ sent for Sa'd b. Mu'adh regarding the affair of Banu Qurayzah. Sa'd came on a donkey whose legs almost touched the ground. When the Prophet ﷺ saw him, he said to his Companions: 'Stand up for your chief.' The Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'These people have agreed to your judgment, so judge between them.' He said: I judge that their fighting men be killed and their women and children be taken captive. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'You have judged with the judgment of Allah and the judgment of the King.'
