حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
أَنَّ زِنْبَاعًا أَبَا رَوْحٍ وَجَدَ غُلَامًا لَهُ مَعَ جَارِيَتِهِ فَقَطَعَ ذَكَرَهُ وَجَدَعَ أَنْفَهُ فَأَتَى الْعَبْدُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى مَا فَعَلْتَ؟» قَالَ فَعَلَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلْعَبْدِ «اذْهَبْ فَأَنْتَ حُرٌّ»

✧ That Zinba' Abu Rawh found a slave of his with his slave-girl, so he cut off his penis and mutilated his nose. The slave came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him. The Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'What made you do what you did?' He said: 'He did such and such.' The Prophet ﷺ said to the slave: 'Go, for you are free.'
