حَدَّثَنَا حُذَافِيُّ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ الْمُسْتَنِيرِ بْنِ الْمُسَاوِرِ بْنِ حُذَافِيِّ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ عِيَاضِ بْنِ مُحْرَقٍ الْعَمِّيِّ اللَّخْمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُسْتَنِيرِ عَنْ خَالِهِ أَخِي أُمِّهِ وَهُوَ خَالِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّهِ زِيَادِ بْنِ جَهْوَرٍ قَالَ
وَرَدَ عَلَيَّ كِتَابٌ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِيهِ «بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللهِ إِلَى زِيَادِ بْنِ جَهْوَرٍ سَلِّمْ أَنْتَ فَإِنِّي أَحْمَدُ إِلَيْكَ اللهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ أَمَا بَعْدُ فَإِنِّي أُذَكِّرُكَ اللهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ أَمَا بَعْدُ فَلْيُوضَعَنَّ كُلُّ دِينٍ دَانَ بِهِ النَّاسُ إِلَّا الْإِسْلَامَ فَاعْلَمْ ذَلِكُ»

✧ A letter from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me, in it was: “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. From Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, to Ziyad b. Jahwar. Peace be upon you, for I praise to you Allah, besides whom there is no deity. To proceed: I remind you of Allah and the Last Day. To proceed: every religion practiced by the people will be removed except Islam, so know that.”
