حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الصُّدَائِيِّ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَنِي فَأَذَّنْتُ لِلْفَجْرِ فَجَاءَ بِلَالٌ لِيُقِيمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَا بِلَالُ إِنَّ أَخَا صُدَاءَ أَذَّنَ وَمَنْ أَذَّنَ فَهُوَ يُقِيمُ»

✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he ordered me, and I gave the call for the dawn prayer. Bilal came to give the iqama, and the Prophet ﷺ said: "O Bilal, the brother of Suda' gave the adhan, and whoever gives the adhan should give the iqama."
