حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ طُعْمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ
قَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ غَنَمًا فَأَعْطَانِي عَتُودًا جَذَعًا فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أُضَحِّي بِهَا؟ فَإِنَّهَا جَذَعَةٌ مِنَ الْمَعْزِ فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ» فَضَحَّيْتُ بِهَا

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ distributed sheep among his companions and gave me a young goat. I said: “O Messenger of God, may I offer it as a sacrifice? It is a jadha‘ah from the goats.” He said: “Yes.” So I sacrificed it.
