حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ وَشِبْلٍ قَالُوا كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنِ الْأَمَةِ تَزْنِي قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحْصَنَ؟ فَقَالَ «اجْلِدْهَا» قَالَ فَإِنْ زَنَتْ؟ قَالَ «اجْلِدْهَا» ثُمَّ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ «بِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ» وَالضَّفِيرُ حَبَلٌ مِنْ شَعَرٍ

✧ From Abu Hurayrah, Zayd b. Khalid al-Juhani, and Shibl, who said: We were with the Prophet ﷺ when a man asked him about a slave woman who fornicates before being previously married. He said, "Flog her." He said, "Then if she fornicates?" He said, "Flog her." Then he said, regarding the third or fourth time, "Sell her, even for a rope of hair." And al-dafir is a rope made of hair.
