حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ الْآخِرَةَ جَمَعَ اللهُ لَهُ شَمْلَهُ وَجَعَلَ غِنَاهُ فِي قَلْبِهِ وَأَتَتْهُ الدُّنْيَا رَاغِمَةً وَمَنْ كَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ الدُّنْيَا فَرَّقَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرَهُ وَجَعَلَ فَقْرَهُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَأْتِهِ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever makes the Hereafter his intention, Allah will gather his affairs for him, place richness in his heart, and the world will come to him, humbled. And whoever makes the world his intention, Allah will disperse his affairs, place poverty before his eyes, and he will get nothing of the world except what has been decreed for him."
