حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ الْآخِرَةَ جَمَعَ اللهُ لَهُ شَمْلَهُ وَجَعَلَ غِنَاهُ فِي قَلْبِهِ وَأَتَتْهُ الدُّنْيَا رَاغِمَةً وَمَنْ كَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ الدُّنْيَا فَرَّقَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرَهُ وَجَعَلَ فَقْرَهُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَأْتِهِ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever's intention is the Hereafter, Allah will gather his affairs together for him, place richness in his heart, and the world will come to him submissively. And whoever's intention is the world, Allah will scatter his affairs, place poverty before his eyes, and nothing of the world will come to him except what Allah has decreed for him.”
