حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ سَبَلَانُ ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ الَّتِي فِي سُورَةِ النِّسَاءِ {وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلعَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا} بَعْدَ الْآيَاتِ الَّتِي فِي سُورَةِ الْفُرْقَانِ {وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا} بِسِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ

✧ This verse, which is in Surah An-Nisa' (Chapter 4) {And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him}, was revealed after the verses in Surah Al-Furqan (Chapter 25) {And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty}. Six months apart.
