حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ نِبْرَاسٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فَقَارَبَ بَيْنَ الْخُطَى وَقَالَ «إِنَّمَا فَعَلْتُ هَذَا لِيَكْثُرَ عَدَدُ خُطَاي فِي طَلَبِ الصَّلَاةِ»

✧ The prayer was established, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out, and I was with him. He shortened his steps and said, “I did this only so that the number of my steps increases in seeking the prayer.”
