al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 4662

✧ Zaid bin Haritha bin Sharahil bin Ka'ab bin Abdul Uzza bin Yazid bin Amr al-Qays al-Kalbi, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , martyred on the Day of Mu'tah in the 8th year.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «بَشِّرِ الْمَشَّائِينَ فِي الظُّلَمِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ بِنُورٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ سَاطِعٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Give glad tidings to those who walk in the darkness to the mosques of a radiant light on the Day of Resurrection."
