حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ

عَنْ أَبِيهِ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهُ ﷺ رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ وَهُوَ مِنْ عُدْوَانَ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Muḥammad b. ʿUthmān b. Abū Shaybah
  2. Ḍirār b. Ṣurad
  3. ʿAlī b. Hāshim
  4. Muḥammad b. ʿUbaydullāh b. Abū Rāfiʿ from his father

✧ From his father, “In naming those who witnessed with Ali ؓ among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: Rabi'ah b. Qays, and he is from 'Udwan.”
