✧ The lineage of Rifa'ah b. 'Abdul-Mundhir Abu Lubabah al-Ansari, from Banu 'Amr b. 'Awf, then from Banu Umayyah b. Zaid, also called Bishr b. 'Abdul-Mundhir, also called Bashir b. 'Abdul-Mundhir.

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ الزُّرَقِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَوَجَدَ النَّاسَ يَتَبَايَعُونَ فَنَادَى «يَا مَعْشَرَ التُّجَّارِ» فَاسْتَجَابُوا لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَرَفَعُوا أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ يُبْعَثُونَ فُجَّارًا إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّقَى وَبَرَّ وَصَدَقَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out in Madinah and found the people buying and selling. He called out: “O company of merchants!” They responded to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and raised their eyes toward him. He said: “Indeed, merchants will be resurrected as wicked people, except for those who fear Allah, act righteously, and are truthful.”
