✧ The lineage of Rifa'ah b. 'Abdul-Mundhir Abu Lubabah al-Ansari, from Banu 'Amr b. 'Awf, then from Banu Umayyah b. Zaid, also called Bishr b. 'Abdul-Mundhir, also called Bashir b. 'Abdul-Mundhir.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ

عَنْ أَبِيهِ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِي ﷺ رِفَاعَةُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ بَدْرِيٌّ مِنْ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ»

  2. Ḍirār b. Ṣurad
  3. ʿAlī b. Hāshim
  4. Muḥammad b. ʿUbaydullāh b. Abū Rāfiʿ from his father

✧ On the authority of his father: "In naming those who witnessed with 'Ali ؓ from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ: Rifa'ah b. Rafi', a Badri from Banu Zurayq."
