حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي حَارِثَةَ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ

خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَرَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى رَوَاحِلِنَا أَكْسِيَةً فِيهَا خُيُوطٌ حُمْرٌ عُرْضٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَلَا أَرَى الْحُمْرَةَ قَدْ غَلَبَتْكُمْ؟» قَالَ فَقُمْنَا سِرَاعًا لِقَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى نَفَرَ بَعْضُ إِبِلِنَا فَأَخَذْنَا الْأَكْسِيَةَ فَنَزَعْنَاهَا مِنْهَا

✧ We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw on our mounts cloths with red threads, wide. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Do I not see that red has overcome you?” He said, so we rose quickly at the words of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until some of our camels bolted. We took the cloths and pulled them off them.
