حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ

عَنْ أَبِيهِ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ مِنْ بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ بَدْرِيٌّ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Muḥammad b. ʿUthmān b. Abū Shaybah
  2. Ḍirār b. Ṣurad
  3. ʿAlī b. Hāshim
  4. Muḥammad b. ʿUbaydullāh b. Abū Rāfiʿ from his father

✧ On the authority of his father: “In naming those who witnessed with ‘Ali ؓ from the Ansar: Khalifa b. ‘Adi from Banu Bayada, a Badri.”
