حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَابَهْرَامَ الْأَيْذَجِيُّ ثنا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَنْبَسَةَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحَزْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَالْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ ؓ يَلْعَبَانِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَفِي حِجْرِهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتُحِبُّهُمَا؟ قَالَ «وَكَيْفَ لَا أُحِبُّهُمَا وَهُمَا رَيْحَانَتَايَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا أَشُمُّهُمَا»

✧ I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while al-Hasan and al-Husayn ؓ were playing in front of him and in his lap. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, do you love them?' He said, 'How could I not love them? They are my two fragrant flowers of this world whom I smell.'
