حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ مُعَاذٍ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ أَنَا خَالِدٌ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا وَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا وَخَيْرُهُمَا الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ بِالسَّلَامِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "It is not lawful for a Muslim to forsake his brother for more than three nights, so that when they meet, this one turns away and that one turns away. The better of them is the one who initiates the greeting of peace."
