حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأُمَوِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي الْيَسَعُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ

أَنَّهُ شَكَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الضِّيقَ فِي مَسْكَنِهِ فَقَالَ «ارْفَعْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَسَلِ اللهَ السَّعَةَ»

✧ He complained to the Messenger of God ﷺ about the narrowness of his dwelling. He said: “Raise your eyes to heaven and ask God for spaciousness.”
