حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زُنْبُورٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سَابِطٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ كُنْتُ آرَقُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ
لِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ إِذَا قُلْتُهُنَّ نِمْتَ؟ قُلِ اللهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا أَظَلَّتْ وَرَبَّ الْأَرَضِينَ وَمَا أَقَلَّتْ وَرَبَّ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَمَا أَضَلَّتْ كُنْ لِي جَارًا مِنْ شَرِّ جَمِيعِ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ وأَنْ يُفْرَطَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ أَنْ يُؤْذِيَنِي عَزَّ جَارُكَ وَجَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to me: “Shall I not teach you words that, if you say them, you will sleep? Say: O God, Lord of the heavens and what they shade, Lord of the earths and what they carry, Lord of the devils and what they lead astray, be for me a neighbour against the evil of all jinn and humans, that any of them may assault me or harm me. Mighty is Your protection, exalted is Your praise, and there is no god but You.”
