حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا فِطْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى خَبَّابٍ أَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنِّي

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَتَمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ لَتَمَنَّيْتُهُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Let none of you wish for death; for had it not been so, I would have wished for it.'
