حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حُوَيِّصَةَ الْحَارِثِيِّ عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ جُوَيْرِيَةَ عَنْ حُسَيْلِ بْنِ خَارِجَةَ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ
قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فِي جَلَبٍ أَبِيعُهُ فَأُتِيَ بِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَجْعَلُ لَكَ عِشْرِينَ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ عَلَى أَنْ تَدُلَّ أَصْحَابِي هَؤُلَاءِ عَلَى طَرِيقِ خَيْبَرَ» فَفَعَلْتُ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَيْبَرَ وَفَتَحَهَا جِئْتُ فَأَعْطَانِي الْعِشْرِينَ ثُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ

✧ I came to Madinah with merchandise to sell, and I was brought to the Prophet ﷺ. He said, “I will give you twenty sāʿs of dates if you guide these companions of mine to the road to Khaybar.” I did so. When the Messenger of God ﷺ reached Khaybar and conquered it, I came and he gave me the twenty. Then I embraced Islam.
