حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ الدَّقَّاقُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ عَنْ حُجْرٍ أَبِي خَلَفٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جُمُعَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ جُنَيْدَ بْنَ سَبُعٍ قَالَ
قَاتَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَوَّلَ النَّهَارِ كَافِرًا وقَاتَلْتُ مَعَهُ آخِرَ النَّهَارِ مُسْلِمًا وَكُنَّا ثَلَاثَ رِجَالٍ وَتِسْعَ نِسْوَةٍ وَفِينَا نَزَلَتْ {وَلَوْلَا رِجَالٌ مُؤْمِنُونَ وَنِسَاءٌ مُؤْمِنَاتٌ}

✧ I fought the Prophet ﷺ at the beginning of the day as an unbeliever, and I fought with him at the end of the day as a Muslim. We were three men and nine women, and concerning us was revealed {Were it not for believing men and believing women}.
