حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَمِرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ
عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «عِبَادٌ لِلَّهِ تُوضَعُ لَهُمْ مَنَابِرُ مِنْ نُورٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَيْسُوا بِأَنْبِيَاءَ وَلَا شُهَدَاءَ يَغْبِطُهُمُ النَّبِيُّونَ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ» قَالُوا فَمَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ «الْمُتَحَابُّونَ فِي اللهِ ﷻ»

✧ On the authority of Abu Malik al-Ash'ari ؓ, who said: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Servants of God for whom pulpits of light will be placed on the Day of Resurrection; they are neither prophets nor martyrs, and the prophets and martyrs will envy them." They said: Who are they? He said: "Those who love one another for the sake of God ﷻ."
