حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعَمَ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نَسِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ
قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا تَمَامُ الْبِرِّ؟ قَالَ «أَنْ تَعْمَلَ فِي السِّرِّ عَمَلَ الْعَلَانِيَةِ»
