حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا السَّاجيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَهْرِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ سَمْعَانَ أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ الْمُقْعَدَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ الْحَارِثَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَخْبِرْنِي بِأَمْرٍ أَعْتَصِمُ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «امْلِكْ هَذَا» وَأَشَارَ إِلَى لِسَانِهِ

✧ He informed him that he said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Tell me of something I can hold fast to." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Control this," and he pointed to his tongue.
